Railyard Brewing is excited to add to our dynamic taproom team. We are a growing brewery and love all things craft beer and strive to convey that through the experiences and products we offer not only throughout the province but in our taproom as well. We are in search of a hardworking cook to join our team, who can be trusted with ensuring recipes are followed and timelines are met.

Successful candidates will be a vital part of our Kitchen and will contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Prepare and cook food to chefs specifications.

  • Keep kitchen clean and organized.

  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation and food storage in accordance with AHS.

  • Reports to chef and communicate food items that may need to be ordered or maintenance needed on kitchen equipment.

  • Communication with FOH is necessary when it comes to menu items.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience preferred

  • Food handling certificate

  • Ability to communicate and multitask effectively

  • Dedicated, dependable & motivated

  • Punctual and reliable attendance

  • Able to work quickly, problem solve and think on your feet while maintaining poise in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude, personable, and customer service oriented

  • Passion for the service industry, desire to be part of a team and work hard

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods of time
